La Stella

La Stella is our modern wood-fired kitchen situated in a converted outbuilding within the pub's courtyard, once the old brewery house. Our team of experienced European and English chefs cook delicious meals using the finest, fresh ingredients to enjoy in the pub, barn, courtyard or to take-away.

Our menus have a good range of pizza, pasta, fish, meat, salads, starters and side dishes.

We are very well known for our pizzas, which are hand-stretched in the traditional Italian way and cooked in a wood-fired oven. We also have a popular Chef’s Specials Board which changes regularly, sometimes daily!

If you would like to book a table or pre-order a takeaway to collect later, please phone us on 01669 650221. Walk-ins are also very welcome although bookings are advisable on Saturday evenings.

Opening Hours

Food is served all day, every day between 12 noon and 8.30pm. Please arrive before 8pm or phone to let us know you are coming if it’s going to be later.

We also serve breakfast Wednesdays to Sundays from 8.30am to 10.30am (last orders). Bacon baps and drinks are also served until 12 noon

We offer a good choice of dishes for different dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free, e.g. vegan cheese, gluten free pizza and pasta - please ask.

Our ‘Desserts and Cakes Menu’ changes regularly and is on display in the pub.
