We are re-opening on Monday 12th April

The Star Inn, Harbottle, Covid re-opening

We are delighted to be re-opening the pub on Monday 12th April. Following Government guidelines this will be in the courtyard area only until 17th May when we will also be able to welcome customers inside.

The opening hours will be as follows from 12th April and will be reviewed again in May.

Opening Hours


Sunday to Wednesday – 12 noon until 10pm

Thursday to Saturday – 12 noon until 11pm


Sunday to Wednesday – 10am until 10pm

Thursday to Saturday – 10am until 11pm

(newspapers will be delivered an hour later, between 8.30am and 9.30am)


Every Day – 12 noon until 9pm


” Restaurants and pubs will be allowed to serve customers outdoors from 12 April. However, restrictions have changed since pubs were last open, and people won’t need to order a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks – and there’ll be no 22:00 curfew.

Customers must remain seated and follow either the rule of six, or be in a group of any size as long as there are no more than two households present. 

When people are not seated – for example, when they’re being shown to a table or going to the toilet – customers must wear face masks, follow one-way systems and observe social distancing “
