We have signed up to the Government’s UK-wide ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme, which runs during August 2020
The scheme offers customers a 50% discount off food and hot or cold non-alcoholic drinks consumed on the premises up to a maximum of £10 per person per transaction
How this will work at The Star Inn
We will operate the scheme from 12 noon until 9pm every Wednesday during August – 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th plus Bank Holiday Monday, 31st
We will include any hot or cold non-alcoholic drinks served from the bar, all food served from the pizzeria, all fresh cakes and pastries served from the bar
We will be re-introducing our ‘Wednesday’s Coffee and Cake’ from 12 noon onwards with a good selection of cakes and savouries
Customers MUST consume food and/or drinks in the bar or courtyard; discounts do not apply to take-away food or drinks
Customers will receive a 50% discount off the bill up to a maximum of £10 per person. We will claim the other 50% back from the Government, e.g. if you buy a pizza and soft drink for £12, you will pay £6 and we will re-claim the balance of £6
