Tom from Muckle Brewing joined us at The Star Inn for a beer tasting evening of their ‘Mighty Beers of Northumberland’ last night.
He started the evening by sharing information about his micro-brewery business, how the naming came about and how it is evolving. He then took everyone through the tasting of 9 beers, starting with a light ale ‘Muckle Magic’, all the way through to an American Pale Ale ‘King’s Crag’. At the end of the beer tasting everyone voted for their favourite beers, which were ‘Muckle Tickle’, ‘Muckle Magic’ and ‘King’s Crag’. We will be stocking these beers in our cellar for customers to enjoy very shortly!
We also held a raffle for some Muckle Brewing gift packs – £35 was raised for the Harbottle Christmas Light fund.
